What Does It Take?

By Administrator | April 13, 2006

For some reason, I just don’t seem to have the willpower to control my eating. My present work environment doesn’t help, either; everyone loves to eat in my office and I think I’ve gained 20 lbs in the 20 months I’ve worked there. They’ve always got some kind of chocolate, donuts, bagels, or other food around, and our staff meetings include a breakfast buffet most of the time.

I’m finding that whenever I walk into the office I want to scarf down everything in sight. I’ve also been craving chocolate like crazy whether I’m at the office or not. My attempt to have my 64 oz of water, 8 oz of V8 fusion and a couple Slim-Fast shakes hasn’t worked out very well yet. Still, I’m not going to give up. I really need to eat more carefully because I can feel when my body doesn’t like what I’ve put into it.

What does it take for a person with a weak will to get themselves under control? If anyone has suggestions, I would really appreciate them.
