Up Again

By Administrator | July 6, 2006

I keep forgetting that exercise builds muscle and that increases weight. This morning I weighed in at a frustrating 205 again. Still, I’m pretty sure that the reason my weight is up a little is that I jogged so far and my legs feel like bands of (soft) steel. Eventually the muscle gain will even out and start eating up the fat so that the numbers on that scale drop again. I’ve just got to be patient and continue working on the exercise program.

Fortunately, I haven’t really felt like eating much of anything because of the heat. I’m hoping to break the plateau and get myself down to at least 190 before the cold weather sets in so that I can stay below 200 pounds when I want to start eating the warm comfort foods again.

Why does this all have to be so hard?
