Down a Bit

Now that I’ve started yet another new medication (the last one caused some blotchiness and only lasted one day), I’m down to 208 again. I’d really love to see that 199 come up on the scale and will continue to work toward that day. I don’t think it will really come any time soon - though I’m starting a new job in two weeks and can hope that I might spend more time on my feet during the day, and eat less, so that maybe I will lose a little bit of weight. If nothing else, I plan to walk to work more often because the new job is a couple blocks closer to home.

Not obsessing about the numbers on the scale is tough, despite the fact that I can see a change in my shape since I’ve been exercising more regularly. I’ve got to start getting out in the evenings to balance my days in the hopes that the extra will help me get into shape faster.

Until then, I’ll continue to hover around my present weight. I guess I should just be happy that I’m not gaining anything. :)
