Day One Redux

By Administrator | January 2, 2007

This is my first official day of watching my food intake again. Today went well: I had one packet of healthy heart oatmeal with cranberries, an apple, and 8oz of milk for breakfast; my morning snack was a diet soda; for lunch, I had a serving of salmon with mandarin orange sauce and fresh spinach; and dinner was some of the delicious jambalaya I made the other night (which tastes much better after sitting for a couple days), some cheese, another 8oz of milk, and a bag of popcorn. No sugar and no flour all day.

I’ve really got to have some type of snack for work if I’m going to eat such a tiny lunch. By the time I got home this evening, I was literally feeling weak from hunger. All this will be easier once I’ve gotten used to eating less food again. I’ve just got to be patient until then. And I need to drink my entire 64oz of water daily.

Tomorrow I’ll see what I can do about keeping track of my caloric intake.
