What do I Count as Exercise?

By Administrator | January 14, 2007

Does the hour I spent walking around the grocery store this morning count as a walk? I’m not sure that would be considered official exercise, but I’m counting that time because I was up and moving around, not to mention all the extra work I had dodging my fellow shoppers. People with carts can be vicious!

Tomorrow is another day - and I will be in the “big city” with access to a large mall where I can do some indoor walking without the frigid temperatures. I was searching for some extra clothing layers to wear this afternoon so I could take an outdoor walk and I realized that I really don’t have anything appropriate for this kind of cold snap anymore. While I could layer the upper portion of my body well enough, I don’t have thermals or anything for my legs - and I really can’t face being that cold right now.
