A Woman On The Edge

Yay!

By Administrator | January 19, 2007

As of my “official” weigh-in on Wednesday, I am now below 200lbs (I was somewhere around 199). This is really exciting because I haven’t been this low in probably the last decade or so. I can feel my body changing: my arms are toning up a bit from lifting heavy boxes above my head at work, my legs are toning from climbing the stairs, and I’ve noticed that the waistbands of the sweatshirts in which I’ve been hiding are sliding over my hips much more easily.

Giving up on bread-type products and sugary snacks has been making me feel less bloated, too. Of course, this is also a pretty tough eating plan to follow. Even if you don’t plan to try the “no flour, no sugar” way of life, you should just take a moment to examine all the convenience foods in the stores to see just how difficult this is.

I highly recommend giving up on flour and sugar if you can. This is a great way to lose weight and is probably a much healthier way of eating. The first few weeks are rough, but once you get used to the change you stop craving the unhealthy and start looking for those fruits and vegetables.

All I can say for right now, though, is yay!
