President’s Day

While I know many people don’t have today off, including one of my daughters, government employees in our state join the ranks of the federal workers in celebrating the day. Most, if not all, school districts seem to have the day off as well.
How did the President’s Day holiday come about? I found a history at this site: http://www.patriotism.org/presidents_day/ that you might find interesting. Learning something new is always a good thing.
