Everybody’s Working for the Weekend

This song title has never been more true. For some reason, this past week was very exhausting on the work front and so I’ve decided to do a lot of reading this weekend to relax (and because I’ve got a bunch of library books due soon). If the weather cooperates, I plan to do some of that reading outdoors on my patio swing to enjoy the fresh air.
While I do like my job these days, I still wish I could take a little time to get other parts of my life in order. Every time I think I can do that I end up getting myself involved in other things that take a lot of time and energy. I’ve decided that I’m not going to take on any other outside projects until I’ve straightened out some personal things on the health and home fronts.
I may actually be able to motivate myself to do that cleaning and reorganizing at home because I’m getting “spring fever” and feel that I really want to get things cleaned up.
Not this weekend, though. This weekend I’m going to relax and read all those books!
