A Minor Change

By Administrator | March 7, 2007

As you might have noticed, I changed my header from Jane of All Trades to A Woman on the Edge.  The update reflects how I feel about my life most of the time - and my tag line says it all: “Follow Through Isn’t the Problem - Follow Up Is.”  My life has become a chain of interesting one-shot activities because, while I do follow through on my ideas, I don’t reinforce what I’ve started by following up on them.  Learning the art of persistence would take me a long way toward success and I’d love to spend more of my time and energy developing some of the things lurking at the edges of my mind.

This minor change indicates my feelings about myself and my life at this point in time.  I’m still skirting the edges of what I really want to do with myself out of a deep fear of failure.  Also, I’m somewhat on edge physically and emotionally because I somehow feel responsible for everything and everyone that I come across.  Being on the edge can also be exciting in that I am walking a line between what I’ve been and what I might become and I could very easily step off on either side.

Isn’t the excitement of the unknown future what life’s all about?
