Another week has started already after a somewhat-busy weekend. Last Friday evening, two of my daughters and I went to see Blue Oyster Cult at Lake Tahoe (we had a great time - and the band was excellent!). Saturday, I met with a couple with some of of my fellow Reno Film Festival Board members from the logistics committee because our big event is coming up next week already. And yesterday I did a phone interview with a freelance reporter for the Reno Gazette-Journal about an article in the May issue of Redbook magazine in which I was included. Plus, I also did the laundry, the grocery shopping, some Film Festival volunteer set up, and a little “mom taxi” service.
Needless to say, the weekend wasn’t exactly restful and I’m not sure I’m ready for another week yet. I’m sure a lot of you are in the same place I am. Whatever happened to a real weekend?
