This week is going to be very crazy since the Reno Film Festival starts on Thursday morning. If anyone reading this happens to be in the area this coming weekend, check out our website because we have some fun events and guests.
The entire Board is having a hectic week. My area of expertise is handling the volunteers and I’m spending a lot of time answering panicked phone calls and e-mails of one kind or another. While I really enjoy the Festival, I’m feeling more stressed than normal this year and I keep thinking things are falling through the cracks (which isn’t helped when people insist that I haven’t spoken to them and I have).
Anyway…I really am looking forward to this coming weekend and I hope that everything goes well. We all do this because we love movies and movie-making and we hope that other people who feel the same way we do have a great time. I just have to keep reminding myself of that while I’m working my way through this last-minute stress.
I probably won’t be posting again until some time next week because I’m going to be traveling back and forth to Reno throughout most of the rest of this one.
