Happy Father’s Day
By Administrator | June 17, 2007
Hubby and I went for a bike ride to breakfast this morning, a total of 1.6 miles (half of that uphill) at an average speed of 6.6 mph. During our ride, I was pleased to find that my sense of balance has returned to the point where I can ride with no hands again, the way I did as a kid. Of course, this is not proper bicycle safety and I don’t recommend that anyone else do something so dangerous…but that was a definite trip down memory lane. Maybe rollerskating/roller blading will be easier now!
Today is Father’s Day and I’d like to wish my hubby a great one because he’s a terrific dad to our three daughters. I’d also like to wish a happy day to all the other dad’s out there; I hope you all get fun toys, great fishing/golf trips, and that you’re able to watch any sports you might like while barbecuing and enjoying that beer.
Have a great day, Dads!
