Late-Day Ride
By Administrator | June 22, 2007
I woke up at 5:15 this morning and could not get myself to go for a bike ride. After putting a full day at work typing up minutes, I came home and relaxed for about 45 minutes, then went for a ride with hubby. We did a 2.9 mile round-trip ride to a local Subway to pick up dinner; high speed 13.9 mph, average speed 8 mph, with a total ride time of nearly 22 minutes. Now my shoulders and neck are sore and my head is aching, but at least I did get out on the bike after having taken a couple mornings off.
Middle daughter has a couple friends hanging out playing Guitar Hero II (a fun game) and they’re about to go out to celebrate yet another 21st birthday. Eldest daughter and I went out for awhile so she could get Chinese food; I got myself a delicious pomegranate Jamba Juice - and then we went to Borders.
All in all, I had a good day. I’m also looking forward to the weekend. Saturday, here I come!
