Around and About

Hubby and I took a ride this evening after a two-day break on my part. We rode to the north Carson Albertson’s, south to Safeway, west on Washington, and back to Mountain. The total trip was 5.6 miles at an average speed of 8mph (max speed 16.1 mph) and took 42:31. Another 3.2 mile ride, possibly tomorrow morning, will get me to a total of 80 miles for the month.

Biking is much easier than it was when I first started again last month. Despite the fact that I was pretty exhausted before we went out this evening, I still managed to enjoy myself and I rode much further than I expected I would…something for me to keep in mind when setting future goals for myself.
