Here and Now

By Administrator | October 14, 2007

Once again I haven’t posted in quite awhile since I’ve been slightly busy and somewhat distracted these past few weeks.  Life is going on pretty much as usual with hubby working his two jobs, one daughter in college, another daughter working at a local grocery store, plus my own work, volunteer commitments, and the upcoming holidays.  This time of year is always pretty busy and the time just flies before I realize what’s happening; though I’m trying to slow things down a bit by trying not to wait until the last minute to do everything.  Despite all my good intentions, I don’t see to be very good at at pre-planning, though.  I’m always exhausted when I get home in the evenings and I can’t seem to motivate myself to do any of the things that continually run through my head while I’m at work during the day.
Despite my many plans for a full day of activity, I’m going to try to get out and enjoy the nice weather at least a little bit today.  I spend entirely too much time indoors on the evenings and weekends and only seem to want to be outside when I’m stuck at work.

I’ve got to learn, like most of us, to enjoy the here and now because this moment is all we have.

I often find that the here and now escapes me, so if you can enjoy the now, and
make your own here. it works out better. We as people tend to lock ourselves up in our own (as we perceive them) shortcomings. You are an awesome person. You have raised 3 awesome, and fascinating children. Stop running yourself down and bask in the beauty that is you.
